happy leopard

Before I even begin this belated post,I'd like to explain my new domain name. I felt that 'vintage' being in the name was no longer appropriate as I'm not as big of a charity/vintage shopper as I once was. I thought I'd go for something a bit more 'me' and given that this is the name my mum likes to call me as a unique take on my real name 'elizabeth' I thought, why not.

I decided to wear this long sleeve fleck top that I purchased from Primark a while back. It fits so well and is very easy to wear. It has a long draped back so can be worn with quite alot and makes you feel covered in all the right areas, and it was a complete bargain at around £6! I often wear dark colours as for me they are my 'go to' safe colours and are a nice contrast against my pale skin. It seemed to go well with my disco pants by Minimum. From what I've seen, there has been alot of rivalry recently with disco pants and debates over which brand has the best fit. For me personally, these are a pretty good fit (regardless that these are the first disco pants I've tried) as they're high waisted, very long for a tall person like myself and also very tapered on the leg which I hear some disco pants aren't.
The socks are my current favourites as they stand out nicely with a plain outfit, Happy Socks are pretty awesome! These seemed to tie in nicely with my all time favourite YMC shoes that I also wore in my previous post.

blue lagoon

this post is featuring the dress i wore to my mums wedding. i've wanted to wear it for ages but it's always seemed too dressy as obviously it was a bridesmaid dress! however, i got it out of my wardrobe earlier and it fits perfectly still and i love the vibrant colour, and the bodice of the dress is so securing and feels so comfortable.
to try and dress it down i knew it needed something, so of course a little light bulb popped above my head and there came the white blouse.
the skirt is my absolute favourite part of the dress, how could you not love it? it's got two layers of mesh under skirt and lots of material so it all completely flows and has alot of volume.
such a shame it's been really off weather lately as i haven't been able to wear this much (as i took this photo a week ago!)
as i'm sure you all know it was my dad's wedding on the weekend, and oh my gosh it was such an amazing day it really was! i won't go into too much detail now as i have a big post on it's way so keep an eye it for it soon with ALOT of photos!

deliver me goods and see the smile

a wee little post to pass the evening by! i usually spend my saturday's doing a bargain haul, raiding the nearest charity shops or any other shops for that matter! today, i held back! although, i may of accidently bought the below vintage coat and vintage dress, oops! this coat i absolutely adore, unfortunately the pictures i struggled to take don't do it justice at all, likewise with the dress! the dress is a large and originally by Laura Ashley, so i see this as a complete bargain as it looks and feels amazing (personal opinion).so as you may see, my hair has changed, it's alot blonder in reality but the lighting wasn't great which is a shame!
the pearl necklace/collar is a little treasure you all might recognise from the one and only primark, a very commonly worn necklace BUT i still like it!
now, the converse, ooh these are my beauties, c/o my wonderful friend Sarah, they are the comfiest little beauties ever and i love them!
