memories walk on

today i spent most of it with my family in Kirton near Felixstowe. i love Kirton, it's such a nice quaint village and everyone knows everyone and is so friendly. we went to the local pub there called the White Horse, it's just a small pub but has that hearty-warm feeling as you walk in and a small garden with little features to explore. it was a meet up of us all to celebrate the life of my step grandad.

anyway, after this i went to my mums house as she's just moved to a new house in Kirton. she had a few things for me, one was an old record player which i expect will be used as ornamental in our house! she also had kindly potted me a mint plant for our garden, cute!!

lastly, she gave me a dress that my nan made years and years ago for herself. it is such a beautiful colour and flows amazingly, i can't believe she made it i never knew she was such a good seamstress! the material is so light and the dress actually fits me perfectly, fate!

so, i thought i'd take a few pictures just to show you all the dress and hopefully you'll love it as much as i do!
